The Bad Ass Baby Blog started as an idea when I found out my wife and I were expecting our first child. I’ve always wanted kids but was always turned off by the traditional model of parenting. The model where parents become obsessed over every trivial detail of their kids lives and cease to exist as individuals. Looking at other parents around me I couldn’t help but think, “God help me if I ever act like that.” This blog is my counter-cultural views on parenting, holding onto yourself when the stress of being a parent seems to overwhelm, and raising a kid that is independent, smart, and a nonconformist. Frilly observations on breastfeeding, formula, and the best diaper rash cream will not be found here. Expect some unusual, contrarian, and offensive views as I depart on this exciting journey called parenthood.
